Hair loss: People Don’t Wish It To Happen To Them
What might you do when it comes to premature hair loss in and anywhere round Saint Petersburg
Though it is true that men and women lose hair, hair does grow back. For most of us, we lose around a hundred strands of hair often. Hair will typically fall out and re-grow every twelve weeks or thereabouts and the growth cycle is about two to six years. Many people start losing much more than normal, while not growing back as many. The dramatic hair thinning has become really common just recently for many individuals.
It is actually not apparent for some people until people point it out to them. If you find that you are losing your hair, you should know that there are different types of hair loss. One typical type occurs in both men and women and it is called androgenetic alopecia or pattern baldness. The primary cause of this type is heredity, and it is characterized by less strong strands of hair in addition to sluggish growth. A strong family history of pattern baldness and a person’s age will assure that a person will lose their hair.
Cicatricial alopecia is yet another type, which is generally known as scarring alopecia, and the hair loss is a result of inflammation and is permanent. The hair follicles become damaged as a result of scarring caused by inflammation which inhibits hair from growing. Some skin disorders, including lichen planus and lupus erythematosus, could cause scarring alopecia, but the cause of the inflammation is still not known to the experts. Yet another type of hair loss is alopecia areata and it is thought to be an autoimmune condition. The cause of the condition is not known, but it still is part of this category. Those who have alopecia areata are very healthy even though some believe that it is induced by another autoimmune disorder like a thyroid illness. It may also be genes or a certain virus that comes to the people when they spend a long time in an environment.
Another kind of hair loss is telogen effluvium which is due to a change in the typical hair cycle. A shock to the system, which can be physical or emotional, may be the cause of hair growth being halted too early. Individuals who fall into a deep depression due to extremely stressful situations could end up with telogen effluvium. Problems with metabolism, abrupt weight gain or loss or other biological stressors could also result in abrupt hair loss.
Another type of hair loss known as traction alopecia is starting to become increasingly more common. Extreme hairstyles are creating stress to the head which is causing significant hair loss. The roots of the hair become weak as a result of all of the pulling, and as a result healthy hair struggles to to grow.
